Royal Panda in one paragraph
A regulated Ontario casino, run by TigerGen Limited, listed in the iGaming Ontario directory (accurate as of 1 Sep 2026), at royalpanda.com/en-ca-on. Not registered in Alberta. Not confirmed anywhere else in Canada. Registration number unverified, because the directory doesn't publish it. Lobby, cashier and support details: check on site, because the international domain served us an empty page and the Ontario site wasn't readable from our location.
That's the whole status. The rest of the page explains what it means for you.
Where the panda came from
Royal Panda launched in 2014, according to our 2023 page, with a cartoon panda and a cheerful, slightly goofy look that set it apart from the dark-and-gold casinos of the time. It later became part of the LeoVegas group.
The brand left the UK in January 2020, when the group pulled it from that market. It did not close globally, and it's still active in Ontario today. That UK exit is why you'll find old forum threads calling Royal Panda "dead". In Canada, it isn't.
The international royalpanda.com domain returned an empty page marked noindex when we checked from outside Canada. That's typical of a brand that has narrowed its markets. It's not a sign of closure, but it does mean the Ontario site is the one that matters.
Why does this history belong in a review? Because old links still float around. Search results, forum posts and our own 2023 page all pointed at versions of Royal Panda that may not serve Canadians any more. If a link drops you somewhere without the iGaming Ontario mark, close it. Go to the Ontario address directly, or through the iGO directory, and you'll know you're on the regulated site.
Before you sign up in Ontario
Four things, in order. Takes two minutes.
- Make sure the address is the Ontario site, royalpanda.com/en-ca-on, and the footer carries the iGaming Ontario mark. The iGO operator directory is public if you want to cross-check.
- Be in Ontario. Physically. The site checks location, so the account won't work on a day trip to Gatineau.
- Be 19 or older. Identity is checked.
- Read the offer terms on the site itself. Ontario rules (AGCO Standard 2.05) keep bonus amounts off public pages like this one, so the only place to see Royal Panda's current offer and its conditions is inside the site or app.
Then set a deposit limit before your first deposit. We'd put that fifth on the list, except it really belongs first.
Alberta, Québec and the rest
Alberta: no. TigerGen is not on the AGLC registrant list, and the LeoVegas group publicly opted out of Alberta's regulated market, which opened on 13 Jul 2026. Albertans should use the AGLC's list of operating sites; see our Alberta page.
Québec and everywhere else: unverified. We found nothing confirming a Royal Panda site for players outside Ontario, and we're not going to imply one exists. Our Québec page and main ranking list casinos with confirmed access.
Ages, for the record: 19+ in Ontario, 18+ in Alberta, Québec and Manitoba, 19+ elsewhere.
Games
The 2023 page called Royal Panda a NetEnt-heavy, slot-first casino with "400+ mobile slot machines" and, oddly, no table games. That was a long time ago in casino years.
The Ontario lobby in 2026: check on site. Studios, game count, live dealer tables, all of it. As a TigerGen brand, it would not be surprising to see overlap with LeoVegas's Ontario lobby, but we haven't compared them and won't pretend we have.
Try the formats free on our side:
Demo RTPs use the studio default. A real-money lobby may run a different setting; the info panel inside each game shows it.
If you're new to the table games, start with roulette's single-zero versions. The house edge is easy to understand, and the rules don't change from one casino to the next the way blackjack side rules do.
Somewhere there's a Leafs fan who picked this casino purely because of the panda. Honestly, people have chosen worse ways. It's still the terms that count.
Cashier and withdrawals
The 2023 page mentioned a low minimum deposit, no withdrawal limit and payouts in two to three days. None of that is confirmed now. Methods, minimums, limits and payout times on the Ontario site: check on site.
What to look for: Interac e-Transfer available for withdrawals as well as deposits; the minimum withdrawal; any pending period; the account currency. And keep an eye on your bank's own Interac cap. A deposit that "fails" on a perfectly working casino is often just a bank limit doing its job on a Friday night. Interac with Desjardins and Banque Nationale accounts is on our editorial test list; nothing to report yet.
First withdrawal tip, and it applies to any regulated site: make it small. A modest amount tells you how long the route really takes and whether any document is missing, before a bigger sum is waiting on the same checks.
Guides: Interac e-Transfer, Paysafecard, iDebit.
Royal Panda or LeoVegas?
Same company in Ontario, so people ask.
| Royal Panda | LeoVegas | |
|---|---|---|
| Ontario operator | TigerGen Limited | TigerGen Limited |
| Ontario site | royalpanda.com/en-ca-on | leovegas.com/en-ca/on/ |
| Alberta | Not registered | Opted out; access stopped around 13 Jul 2026 |
| Rest of Canada | Unverified | Unverified |
| Brand style | Playful, slot-first (as of 2023) | Mobile-first |
Pick on lobby and comfort, not on the logo. And remember that limits set on one brand don't carry over to the other; if you use both, set them on both, or use BetGuard to exclude from all regulated sites at once. Our LeoVegas review covers the sister brand.
One brand among 84 sites
Perspective helps here. The iGaming Ontario directory listed 49 operators and 84 gaming websites as of 1 Sep 2026. Royal Panda is one of them, alongside big sportsbook brands and casino-only brands. (OLG.ca runs separately, under the province's own lottery corporation.)
What does that mean for you? Mostly, that you can be picky. Every site in that directory sits under the same AGCO standards: same age rule, same location checks, same advertising limits, same access to BetGuard. The differences are in the product: lobby, cashier speed, support quality, how easy the limit tools are to find. Those are exactly the things we couldn't read for Royal Panda, so look at them yourself in the first ten minutes after signing up. If something feels clunky, there are 83 other sites.
Who it suits
Slot players in Ontario who like a lighter, less "Vegas" look, and anyone already comfortable with the LeoVegas group. Less obviously suited to live-dealer regulars until we can confirm the live lobby, and not available at all to players outside Ontario as far as we can confirm.
How we checked
On 14 Oct 2026 we searched the iGaming Ontario directory and the AGLC registrant export, tried the international and Ontario domains, and read trade coverage of the group's UK exit and Alberta decision. No funded account, so no payout timings.
Self-exclusion and help
Since 14 May 2026 Ontario has BetGuard, a centralized self-exclusion run by iGaming Ontario. One sign-up, every regulated site. ConnexOntario takes calls 24/7 at 1-866-531-2600, or text CONNEX to 247247.
Bottom line
A regulated, still-living Ontario brand with a friendlier look than most. We haven't scored it, since we couldn't read the lobby or the cashier, and we don't score on charm.
