Quick verdict
Ruby Fortune has the same licence, the same 35x wagering and the same reliable operator as Spin and Jackpot City, with a smaller bonus and a cashier that, from our vantage point, showed no Interac, iDebit or Instadebit. If those appear for you from a Canadian connection, it's a perfectly decent site. If they don't, there are better choices in the same family.
Two pros, then a longer list of doubts. That's honest.
One more thing before the details. A missing payment method on a foreign-IP fetch is not proof of anything. Casinos in this group routinely change what they show by country, and the Canadian homepage copy (in English and French) is clearly written for Canadians. We're flagging a gap in the evidence, not accusing the site of hiding Interac.
Strong points
- 35x wagering on a modest C$750 package
- Four studios, including Pragmatic Play, and live tables
Weak points
- Interac, iDebit and Instadebit not shown on any page we could read
- Only euro amounts on the pages we fetched
- French site is a generic /fr/ version, not French-Canadian
- /terms/ and /payment-methods/ returned 404; terms readable only in French
- No withdrawal times published
Screenshots
Fresh captures from a Québec connection are pending. For this casino they matter more than usual: the screenshot of the cashier will tell us whether Interac shows up for Canadian visitors.
Up to C$750 over three deposits
The banner as served to us said "€750 BONUS". The structure:
- 1st deposit: match up to 250
- 2nd deposit: match up to 250
- 3rd deposit: match up to 250
The match percentage per deposit wasn't spelled out in what we read, just the caps; check on site.
New customers only, claim within 7 days. Minimum deposit: 10 currency units (€10 as published). Wagering: 35x the bonus amount, so a full 250 bonus means 8,750 in bets. No explicit deadline on the wagering itself, but an unused match bonus is forfeited after 2 months. The terms also mention daily spins, which expire 30 days after the last deposit; the daily-spins offer itself, check on site.
Max bet while wagering: €8 per round, 50 cents per line. And the group-wide clause: welcome-bonus wins may be capped at 6x the first deposit, at management's discretion, progressive jackpots excepted.
Is C$750 small? Compared with Jackpot City's C$1,600, yes. But the cap per deposit is lower too, which means each step clears faster. A smaller bonus at 35x is easier to finish than a bigger one at 35x; it's the same rate, just less of it. Some people prefer that.
A practical approach: deposit what you'd normally deposit, not what maxes the match. If you usually play with C$50, a C$50 bonus at 35x is C$1,750 of play, which is a few evenings of normal slot sessions at a sensible stake. Stretching to C$250 to grab the full bonus turns it into C$8,750, and that's when people start raising their bets to "get it done", which is exactly when the €8 max-bet rule bites. Not my favourite way to lose a bonus, and a common one.
The wagering calculator shows how long each step takes at your stake.
The missing Interac
This is the big one. On the Canadian banking page, the French conditions and the homepages, we found:
- MuchBetter
- paysafecard
- Neosurf
- Visa and Mastercard
- Skrill, Neteller, ecoPayz, Apple Pay
- eCheck
Interac: not listed. iDebit: not listed. Instadebit: not listed. PayPal: not listed. Every sister site in the Baytree group shows at least Interac, so this is probably geo-dependent: our research ran from outside Canada, and the cashier may show a different list to a Canadian IP. Probably. We can't confirm it, so for now it's "check on site". If Interac is how you pay, open the cashier before you register anything else.
Some casinos only show the cashier after sign-up. If that's the case here, ask the live chat instead; it's quicker than registering, sending KYC documents and then finding out. And if Interac does appear, check whether it's offered for withdrawals as well as deposits. On several sites a method is deposit-only and the payout goes back by bank transfer or e-wallet, which changes the timing.
The good news is the alternatives that are listed are solid for Canadians. MuchBetter is an app-based wallet that usually works in both directions (whether it pays out here: check on site); paysafecard and Neosurf are prepaid, so they're deposit tools and you'll need another route out. Our Neosurf guide and paysafecard guide explain that limitation.
Withdrawal times per method: not published. Limits follow the group terms: GBP 10,000 (or equivalent) per 24 hours, a possible €4,000 weekly limit at management's discretion for players who've withdrawn five times their lifetime deposits, and a clause allowing winnings to be paid in euros whatever your account currency. Since Ruby Fortune showed us only euros, that clause deserves a direct question to support.
KYC is standard for the group: photo ID, proof of address under six months, proof of payment ownership, mandatory once transactions reach €2,000.
Interac and Québec banks
We'd normally say Desjardins and Banque Nationale Interac deposits are on our test list, and they are. For Ruby Fortune, though, the first test is simpler: whether Interac appears in the cashier at all from Québec. Until then, there's nothing to report.
Games and studios
Named: Games Global, Apricot, Pragmatic Play and OnAir (the logo is in the footer, and the live casino doesn't name its provider directly). So, Microgaming heritage on the slots side, plus Pragmatic's newer catalogue.
Pragmatic Play changes the feel of the lobby compared with Royal Vegas, which only names Apricot. You get the newer cluster-pay and tumble slots alongside the Games Global classics, which makes the 35x less of a grind for people who get bored on a single game. Studio count isn't everything, but four is a reasonable spread for a casino this size.
The obvious demos to try on our site first: Mega Moolah for the progressive, Thunderstruck 2 for the classic Games Global feature set, and Tomb Raider 2 if you remember the original. Live lobby availability for each: check on site.
Table players can practise on our free blackjack games. How much tables count toward the 35x isn't in what we read; check on site.
(Habs fans will recognise the feeling of this lobby: a name with real history, a solid core, and a sense that the exciting part is still a season or two away.)
Mobile app
The Canadian page says Ruby Fortune has iOS and Android apps. We haven't installed them from Canada yet. The usual caution applies: get the app from the official store or the casino's own domain, nowhere else.
When we test it, the cashier in the app is what we'll look at first, for the same Interac reason.
Apple Pay is listed among the payment methods, which on an iPhone is the quickest deposit route available here. At sister sites it's listed for deposits only, so expect the same here and plan a different route for withdrawals; the exact options are a cashier question, check on site. Touch ID on a deposit button is convenient. Maybe a little too convenient at 1 a.m., which is one more reason to set a deposit limit first. Our mobile casino guide covers how app and browser play differ in general.
Customer service
Hours, channels and support languages were not described on the pages we read. We haven't run a live-chat test yet. It's pending.
The French interface is a generic /fr/ version with Canada-targeted copy rather than a dedicated fr-CA site. French support: unverified.
Note also that the English-language terms URLs (/terms/ and /terms-and-conditions/) returned errors when we checked, so we read the general conditions in French at /fr/conditions-generales/. If you're an English speaker, ask support for the current English terms before you accept a bonus. You should be able to read the rules you're agreeing to in your own language, and that's a fair thing to ask for.
Licence and legal status
Baytree Interactive Ltd (Guernsey, 69691) runs the rest-of-Canada site under Kahnawake Gaming Commission licence 01059, issued 26 August 2026 according to the terms. The Kahnawake permit list confirms Baytree without printing numbers.
The French general conditions list Alberta and Ontario as restricted. Québec isn't listed. Ontario players have a separate Ruby Fortune site under Cadtree Limited, registered with iGaming Ontario. BC players have PlayNow as the provincial option; see our British Columbia page.
From Québec the legal picture is the same as for every offshore casino on this site: Loto-Québec says its own platform is the only legal one; the 2016 law that would have forced ISPs to block other sites was struck down (2018, upheld 2021, SCC leave refused 2022); and no Québec regulator handles complaints against offshore operators. Not legal advice. Our Québec page goes deeper. Age 18 in Québec.
Responsible-gambling tools were not detailed in what we read; check on site.
Should you bother?
Yes, if you already use MuchBetter, paysafecard or Neosurf and want a 35x bonus that's small enough to clear.
Not yet, if you need Interac. Check the cashier first; if Interac isn't there, Spin Casino or Royal Vegas from the same operator have it listed. And not at all if you're in Ontario or Alberta on this site.
Also a fit for long-time players who remember the brand and want a quieter site than the big-bonus sisters. Ruby Fortune doesn't shout. Some people like that.
We'll update this page once our Québec capture shows the actual cashier.
