Best Canadian Casinos is an independent editorial site about online casinos, written for players in Canada and, first of all, for players in Québec.

We are not a casino. We take no bets, hold no player money and run no games.

Who writes this site

The content is written and checked by a small editorial team. We publish it under one byline, "Best Canadian Casinos editorial team", instead of inventing personal profiles with stock photos. You will not find fake reviewers here, or player testimonials we cannot back up.

The domain has been around for a while. Its 2023 edition carried reviews, slot news and free games, some of it written under a personal byline that no longer applies (see the archived byline page for the details). In October 2026 we rebuilt the site, kept the old addresses alive, and rewrote the reviews from the casinos' own terms, footers and cashier pages.

The site runs in English and in Québec French. The French pages are written separately, not run through a translator, because a Montréal reader can tell the difference in about two sentences.

What we cover, and what we don't

Reviews of casinos that accept Canadian players, with Québec access, French support and Interac handled as separate questions. Pages on payment methods, minimum deposits and bonus terms. Provincial rules, including the parts that are not settled. Free demos of classic games.

We don't cover sports betting tips. We don't promise wins either: every game on every site we list has a house edge, and no strategy removes it.

Ontario and Alberta get different treatment. Both provinces now run regulated markets, so on pages for those readers we list only registered brands and publish no bonus amounts. Ages matter too: 18+ in Québec, Manitoba and Alberta, 19+ everywhere else.

How the site is paid for

Through affiliate links. When you click a button such as "Play" or "Visit casino", you pass through an address that starts with /go/, and if you open an account or deposit, the casino may pay us a commission. You pay nothing extra for this, and the offer you see is the same one the casino shows everyone else.

That is the whole business model. No paid articles, no sponsored scores, no "partner of the month".

The full explanation, including how these links are marked in the code, is on our affiliate disclosure page.

Editorial independence

Money pays the bills. It does not set the score.

Each casino is scored out of 10 with fixed weights, published on how we rate. A higher commission does not move a casino up, and a casino with no affiliate deal can still be reviewed and scored. When we cannot confirm a fact (a payout time, a bonus in Canadian dollars, a French-speaking chat agent), we write "check on site" rather than fill the gap with a number that sounds right.

Operators don't see our reviews before they go live. If one writes to us with a correction, we check it against their own published terms, and we change the page only if the terms back it up. The same rule applies to readers, which is fair.

Some tests are still on our list: Interac deposits with Desjardins and Banque Nationale accounts, and live chat in French. Until they are done, the reviews say so. We would rather publish "not tested yet" than a story.
