LeoVegas in Ontario
Registered, listed, live. Those three words carry this page.
The iGaming Ontario operator directory (accurate as of 1 Sep 2026) lists TigerGen Limited as the operator, with the Ontario site at leovegas.com/en-ca/on/. TigerGen also runs Royal Panda in Ontario. The AGCO registration number isn't published in the directory, so it is unverified here; the registration itself is not.
You need to be 19 or older and physically in Ontario. The site checks your location, not your address, so it works at the cottage on Georgian Bay and stops working when you cross into Québec for a weekend at Mont-Tremblant.
The rest of the Ontario picture (all the brands, the rules, BetGuard) is on our Ontario page.
Why LeoVegas isn't in Alberta
It said no. Plainly.
When Alberta opened its regulated market on 13 Jul 2026, LeoVegas told Canadian Gaming Business it would not pursue Alberta and would focus on Ontario, and access in Alberta stopped around the launch. Trade coverage described it as the MGM-owned LeoVegas platform sitting out the launch. TigerGen does not appear on the AGLC registrant list.
If you're an Albertan with an old LeoVegas account, that account is not part of the regulated Alberta market. Check the AGLC's list of operating sites for alternatives and read our Alberta page. Any balance left over: contact LeoVegas support in writing and keep the reply.
It's a strategic choice, and an understandable one. Every new province means a new registration and new compliance work. Some groups will wait and see. Albertans, meanwhile, had 50 registered operators at launch, so nobody's stuck.
Québec and the other provinces
Unknown, and we would rather say so than repeat other sites.
The international LeoVegas site still advertises English-Canadian and French-Canadian language versions, which suggests some Canadian traffic outside Ontario. Affiliate sites claim there's a separate Malta-licensed site for the rest of Canada. We could not open it: every attempt redirected us to another national version. The MGA licence for the rest-of-world business is real, but its number and whether it covers Canadians outside Ontario are unverified.
Could it be fine? Sure. Could it be a site that closes the account the moment it sees a Québec address on your ID? Also possible. Without reading the terms we have no way to tell which, and a review that guessed would be doing you a disservice. If you try it anyway, read the restricted-territories clause before you deposit a cent, and screenshot it.
For Québec players this matters, because our old page was literally titled as a French casino. We can't promise you a French LeoVegas experience from Montréal. For confirmed options, see the Québec page. For the rest of Canada, start from our main ranking.
The mobile product
This is the bit LeoVegas has always been proud of. The 2023 review said the same, and the screenshots below come from that review.

For the Ontario site in 2026, app availability on iOS and Android and the in-app features: check on site. What doesn't change on any regulated app is the location check. Expect your phone to ask for location permission. Saying no means not playing, and that's by design, not a bug.
A tip from the lunchtime crowd: playing in a ten-minute break is exactly how a ten-minute session becomes forty. Set a session reminder in the account settings. The commute will thank you.
Games and live casino
Our old review counted more than 2,500 games and leaned on awards from 2021 and 2022. Lists like that age fast.
The Ontario lobby in 2026 (studios, game count, live dealer tables): check on site. Don't assume the Ontario lobby matches what LeoVegas offers in Europe; regulated markets handle game approvals on their own.

Free versions of the classics, on our side:
RTP in the real-money version can be set differently from the demo. The info panel inside each game gives the figure that applies. If you're into live tables, our live casino guide covers how they work.
Where's the bonus?
Not on this page, on purpose.
AGCO Standard 2.05 bans public advertising of bonuses and other inducements for Ontario's regulated sites, including on affiliate pages. LeoVegas can show offers inside its own site and app, and send them to players who have opted in. If there is one, you'll see it there, with the terms next to it. Read those terms there.
One practical upside of the rule: you compare Ontario sites on what they are, not on who shouts the biggest number. Lobby, cashier, support, limits. That's the comparison worth making.
The 2023 version of this page was all about the welcome offer. That market is gone. Good riddance, mostly.
Payments in Ontario
Methods, minimums, withdrawal limits and payout times on leovegas.com/en-ca/on/: check on site. We were redirected before reaching the cashier.

On any regulated site, look for Interac e-Transfer on both deposit and withdrawal, any pending period, and the account currency. Your bank's Interac limit is its own thing; if it runs out on a Saturday, that's the bank. Interac with Desjardins and Banque Nationale is on our editorial test list; nothing to report yet.
Method guides: Interac e-Transfer, Instadebit, MuchBetter.
Safer play in Ontario
BetGuard has been live since 14 May 2026. It is iGaming Ontario's centralized self-exclusion, one sign-up for every regulated site. If you only want to step back from LeoVegas, use the account tools; if you want out of all of them, BetGuard is the faster route.
Small detail people miss: a self-exclusion is not a pause button. Programmes like Alberta's and Loto-Québec's can't be ended early once you pick a period, so read the BetGuard terms before signing up. If you only want to slow down, a deposit limit is the gentler first step.

Who LeoVegas fits
Phone-first players in Ontario. That's the short answer, and it has been LeoVegas's pitch for over a decade (our 2023 page dated the company to 2012).
If you mostly play on a laptop, the mobile reputation matters less, and you should compare lobbies and cashiers across the Ontario list instead of picking on brand recognition. If live dealer games are your main thing, check the live lobby before you register; we couldn't see it.
And if you already have a Royal Panda account, know that it's the same operating company in Ontario. Two brands, one TigerGen. Some players like spreading play across brands for variety. We'd say: fine, but use BetGuard or the account limits on both, because limits set on one brand don't follow you to the other.
It doesn't fit Albertans at all, for now. And Québec players will have to look elsewhere unless that rest-of-Canada site turns out to be what the affiliates say it is.
How we checked
We read the iGaming Ontario directory (accurate as of 1 Sep 2026), the AGLC registrant export and trade coverage of LeoVegas's Alberta decision on 14 Oct 2026. The LeoVegas Canadian pages redirected our checks to another national site, so lobby, cashier and support details are check on site.
Our view
A big, regulated brand with a strong mobile reputation, in one province. If you're in Ontario, it belongs on your shortlist. If you're anywhere else, it isn't confirmed for you, and in Alberta it has stepped away.
No score yet. We couldn't read the lobby or the cashier from our checks, and we don't score on reputation alone. Compare with the other Ontario brands below.

Frequently asked questions
Is LeoVegas legal in Ontario?
Yes. TigerGen Limited runs the Ontario site, leovegas.com/en-ca/on/, and is listed in the iGaming Ontario directory.
Is LeoVegas available in Alberta?
No. LeoVegas said it would not pursue Alberta's regulated market, and access there stopped around the 13 Jul 2026 launch.
Can I play LeoVegas in Québec or French?
Unverified. The international site advertises French-Canadian pages, but we could not confirm a site that accepts Québec players.
Are LeoVegas and Royal Panda the same company?
In Ontario, both are run by TigerGen Limited. They are separate brands with separate sites.
I'm in Alberta and still have a LeoVegas balance. What now?
Contact LeoVegas support in writing, ask how to withdraw, and keep the reply and a screenshot of the balance. Then pick a site from the AGLC's list of operating sites if you want to keep playing.
Does LeoVegas have an app in Ontario?
Check on site. Expect any regulated app to ask for location permission, because you must be in Ontario to play.
Why don't you list the LeoVegas welcome bonus?
Ontario's AGCO Standard 2.05 prohibits public advertising of bonuses for regulated sites.
