Our read, before the details
PlayOJO and Tooniebet publish the quickest windows on our list. PlayOJO says Interac e-Transfer withdrawals are "often within 24 hours or less after release", and Tooniebet promises e-wallets, Interac included, within 48 hours.
The Casino Rewards sites (Zodiac, Yukon Gold) are the slowest by design: a 48-hour pending period, then processing on the next business day, then the method's own time. The Baytree brands sit in between, where they publish times at all.
But a casino with a fast window and a slow verification team will still pay you late. Keep reading.
About that word "instant", by the way. When a casino uses it, read which clock it means. Usually it's the time from approval to the money leaving the casino, not from your click to the money arriving. Between those two moments sit the pending period, the document check, the business-day calendar and your bank. Four clocks, and only one of them is on the banner. We've stopped trusting any payout claim that doesn't say which part of the trip it measures.

"24-28 hours" appears on two Baytree payment pages. It's probably a typo for 24–48, but that's the operator's text, so that's what we print.
KYC: the real bottleneck
Know Your Customer. Three letters that cause more payout complaints than any payment method ever has.
Every casino on our list reserves the right to check who you are before paying out. The documents are nearly identical everywhere: photo ID, a proof of address, and proof that the payment method is yours. The details differ:
- Baytree brands: verification is mandatory once single or cumulative transactions reach €2,000, with notarised documents possible for substantial withdrawals. Proof of residence must be under six months old.
- Casino Rewards (Zodiac, Yukon Gold): proof of residence no older than three months. First withdrawals to a new method can face extra checks of up to 5–7 working days.
- Tooniebet: electronic identity verification, and the terms allow requests for proof of age, address and source of funds.
- PlayOJO: passport, driver's licence, ID card or utility bill. Documents are usually checked in under 12 hours, and you're told to contact support if there's no reply within 48.
Notice "source of funds" in Tooniebet's list. That's a bigger ask than a bill, usually triggered by larger sums. Bank statements, pay stubs. Not fun to dig up on a Friday night.
Our strongest tip, and the boring one: upload your documents the day you open the account, before you've won anything. Then the first withdrawal doesn't wait for a back-and-forth by email.
Why the first withdrawal is always the slowest
It's not you. It's the system.
The first cashout combines everything that can slow things down: documents not yet checked, a payment method used for the first time, sometimes a bonus still active. Zodiac and Yukon Gold say it openly: first-time methods get extra checks of up to 5 to 7 working days. That's on top of the 48-hour pending period.
The second withdrawal is usually much quicker. Same casino, same method, documents already on file.
And then there's the bank side. An e-Transfer that the casino sends on Friday afternoon can land in minutes, or it can sit in review at your bank. Remember, we haven't tested Interac payouts with Desjardins or Banque Nationale; it's on our editorial test list. We don't know of any bank that publishes a policy on this either way.
Pending periods, and what you can do during them
A pending period is time during which the withdrawal sits waiting and, at many casinos, can be reversed back into your balance. Lucky Nugget has 24 hours. Zodiac and Yukon Gold have 48.
Our opinion, plainly: we don't like long pending periods. They exist partly so players reverse withdrawals and keep playing. If your casino lets you, and you've decided to cash out, leave it alone. Better still, ask support whether your account can be set so withdrawals can't be reversed (check on site; we didn't find this option published).
Did we mention the cottage weekend? Request a withdrawal on a Friday at a 48-hour-pending casino, and the "next business day" processing lands on Tuesday. Long weekend? Wednesday.
Which method pays fastest
On the published figures, e-wallets and Interac lead.
Tooniebet groups Interac, Skrill and MuchBetter together at 48 hours. Instadebit runs 24–48 hours at Jackpot City and Lucky Nugget. Cards and eCheck take 1 to 5 business days depending on the casino. Bank transfers at Casino Rewards are the slowest at 6 to 10 working days, with a C$50 fee (C$100 over C$3,000); CAD EFT there is free.
Crypto? Tooniebet takes a long list of coins, and Jackpot City lists BTC, ETH, LTC and USDT, but neither publishes crypto payout times on the pages we read. Check on site before assuming "crypto equals instant".

Caps, fees and currency surprises
Fast doesn't help much if the amount is capped.
At Zodiac and Yukon Gold, players who win much more than they've deposited can be limited to C$4,000 a week. The Baytree terms allow the casino to limit players who withdraw five times their lifetime deposits or more to €4,000 a week, at management's discretion, and to cap welcome-bonus wins at 6x the first deposit (progressive jackpots excluded). Tooniebet's weekly and monthly ceilings rise with VIP level.
Fees: Tooniebet says it charges none. Casino Rewards charges 2.5% on withdrawals in a different currency, plus the bank-transfer fee. Baytree's terms say winnings may be paid in euros regardless of account currency, which would mean a conversion at your bank. We read the clause; we haven't seen it applied.
Five ways to get paid sooner
- Verify your account before your first deposit, or right after.
- Withdraw to the method you deposited with. Many casinos require it anyway.
- Finish or cancel any active bonus first; an open bonus can block or void a withdrawal.
- Avoid Friday requests at casinos with pending periods and business-day processing.
- Keep amounts within the daily limit for your method, so the payout isn't split across days.
Ontario and Alberta players use regulated sites with their own rules (19+ in Ontario, 18+ in Alberta); see the Ontario page. Québec players: the Québec page covers which of these sites accept the province.

Frequently asked questions
Which casino on your list pays out fastest?
On published figures, PlayOJO (Interac often within 24 hours of release) and Tooniebet (e-wallets and Interac within 48 hours). Your own verification status affects both.
Why is my first withdrawal taking so long?
Usually document checks and a first-time payment method. Zodiac and Yukon Gold warn that first-time methods can take an extra 5 to 7 working days.
Is Interac faster than a card withdrawal?
On published figures, yes. Tooniebet pays Interac within 48 hours and Visa/Mastercard in up to 5 business days. At Zodiac and Yukon Gold, cards take 3 working days after the pending period.
Is there a minimum withdrawal?
At Zodiac and Yukon Gold, C$50 for most methods and C$300 for bank transfers. PlayOJO says there's no minimum. Elsewhere, check on site.
Are withdrawals from these casinos taxed?
Recreational gambling winnings are generally not taxable in Canada (CRA Folio S3-F9-C1). This isn't tax advice.
Can my bank block a casino withdrawal?
We found no Canadian bank that publishes a policy blocking Interac payments from casinos. If a transfer is held, call your bank and ask.
