Tooniebet Casino Review: Bonus, Interac and the Tobique Licence

The verdict, up front

The lowest headline wagering in this group of reviews: 20x, with C$ amounts and a clear C$7.50 max bet. The cashier is strong too, with Interac up to C$3,000 per deposit and withdrawals within 48 hours for e-wallets. The trade-offs are a ten-day wagering window that's short for a C$3,500 package, live chat labelled English only, and a licence from a smaller First Nations regulator that you should understand before you sign up.

C$3,500 + 200 spins: how it splits, and the 20x question

Four deposits, C$30 minimum each to qualify.

The amounts are in C$ on the site. No euro note needed here, which, after reviewing three Baytree casinos in a row, is a small relief.

The wagering is 20x. But 20x of what? The promotions page says deposit plus bonus. The homepage talks about "bonus wagering". Those aren't the same thing:

• Deposit C$100, get C$100. If 20x applies to deposit + bonus: C$4,000 in bets.
• If 20x applies to the bonus only: C$2,000.

Assume the bigger number until support tells you otherwise in writing. And here's the twist: at C$4,000, Tooniebet's 20x on deposit plus bonus is actually a little more than 35x on a C$100 bonus alone at the Baytree sites (C$3,500). So "20x" is not automatically the easier offer. It's only clearly better if it turns out to be bonus-only. Against the 200x offers at Zodiac, Yukon Gold and Lucky Nugget, of course, there's no contest.

Spin winnings carry 30x. The spins must be used within 7 days.

And the clock: 10 days to complete the wagering. That's the real constraint. On a full first deposit of C$1,000 + C$1,000, deposit-plus-bonus wagering would be C$40,000 in ten days. At the C$7.50 max bet, that's over 5,300 spins. Not happening for most people. Deposit what you can realistically turn over in ten days, not what maxes the offer.

Other rules to keep in front of you:

• Max bet C$7.50 while wagering. The bonus policy treats bigger bets as promotion abuse.
• No-deposit bonuses (when offered): 40x, max cashout 5x the bonus, and free-spin winnings capped at C$120.

Cashier: Interac, crypto and real limits

Tooniebet publishes limits for almost everything, which we appreciate.

Crypto covers Bitcoin, Ethereum, Litecoin, Bitcoin Cash, USDT (ERC20, TRC20, BEP20, Solana), USDC, TRX, BNB, DOGE, Solana and Cardano. That's a long list.

Not listed: iDebit, Instadebit, Neosurf, bank transfer. Apple Pay and PayPal are mentioned in the homepage feature text but not in the payments table, so treat them as unconfirmed. The payments page also says "seven deposit and six withdrawal methods" and then lists six and five. Small sloppiness. Check on site.

Withdrawal limits by VIP level: up to C$9,000 a day per method, C$10,000–30,000 a week, C$40,000–120,000 a month. The FAQ gives 1–5 business days overall, depending on method.

Verification: electronic identity checks, and the casino may ask for proof of age, identity, address and source of funds.

Interac with Desjardins and Banque Nationale

On our editorial test list, not yet tested. One thing to know regardless: Tooniebet's Interac ceiling is C$3,000 per deposit, but your bank's own e-Transfer limit may be lower, and it'll be the one that stops you. Usually at the worst moment.

Games: what we could and couldn't confirm

The pages we read don't name the game providers. So no studio list from us; check on site.

The help centre does list live categories: roulette, blackjack, game shows, baccarat and dice, and poker. Studios not named.

Because we can't tell you which slot titles are in the lobby, our suggestions are about the game types, not specific Tooniebet titles. Learn the table games on our free versions first: European Blackjack, European roulette (single zero, the better wheel for the player), and Perfect Pairs if you like side bets. For slots, the free slots section has demos of the classics.

How much table and live games count toward the 20x: check on site. It's usually much less than slots, and with only ten days, that matters.

Apps

The help centre shows App Store and Google Play badges and a QR code, so both platforms have a store app. That's a step up from sites that make Android users sideload an APK.

We haven't tested the apps from Québec. Whether the French interface carries into the app: check on site.

With a ten-day wagering window, the app is arguably the most useful part of the package: short sessions on the bus or at lunch are how most people would actually get through the turnover. Which is also the risk. A bonus with a deadline in your pocket nudges you to play when you otherwise wouldn't. If you notice that happening, let the bonus expire. Losing a bonus costs nothing you deposited.

Support and the language question

The site lists 24/7 live chat, a toll-free phone line and an email address. The chat is labelled "English Live Chat". On a French-language site aimed at Canada, that's a gap, and it's the one thing a Québec player would want fixed first.

We haven't done a live-chat test yet; it's pending. When we do, we'll ask the 20x question (deposit plus bonus, or bonus only?) and post the answer here.

Also note: the terms say their original language is English. If the French and English versions ever disagree, English wins.

The phone line is a plus. Few offshore casinos still publish one, and for a withdrawal question it's often faster than a chat queue. Whether a French-speaking agent ever picks up is the test we want to run; it's pending with the rest.

The Tobique licence, explained

Tooniebet is operated by Tobix Limited, an Isle of Man company (reg. no. 022548V). The licence is from the Tobique Gaming Commission, a regulator set up by the Tobique First Nation in New Brunswick. The terms give licence number 0000050, issued 23 April 2025; the homepage writes it as "000050". Probably a typo, but the two don't match. We couldn't find a public Tobique register to check it against, so the registry check is pending.

What does a Tobique licence mean in practice? It's a First Nations regulator, like Kahnawake, which licenses most of the other casinos on this site. Kahnawake's authority rests on Mohawk self-government, which the provinces don't recognize, and Tobique sits in a similar position: a First Nation commission outside the provincial system. Neither is a provincial regulator, and neither is an international one like Malta's. Kahnawake has been doing this since the late 1990s and is much larger; Tobique is newer and smaller, and a few other Canada-facing brands now carry its licence. For you as a player, the practical point is the same as with Kahnawake: complaints go to the operator and then to the commission, not to a provincial body.

An odd detail: Tooniebet's terms exclude New Brunswick, the province where Tobique First Nation is located. They also exclude Ontario and Alberta. TonyBet appears in iGaming Ontario's list of brands, but whether that's the same entity and site is something to check on site; this review covers only the rest-of-Canada Tooniebet. Québec isn't excluded. Loto-Québec holds that its own site is the only legal one in Québec; the 2016 ISP-blocking law was struck down by the Superior Court in 2018 and the Court of Appeal in 2021. Who should pick Tooniebet

A Québec player who wants Interac with clear limits, a C$ account and the lowest headline wagering multiple in this batch. Also crypto users, since the list is long. And high-volume players: C$9,000 a day per method, and up to C$120,000 a month at the top VIP level, are high ceilings for a Canada-facing site. Most people will never get near them, but it's good to know a big win wouldn't be drip-fed out at C$4,000 a week, as it can be at the Casino Rewards sites.

Not for someone who needs French on the support chat, or who likes to play a bonus slowly over weeks. Ten days goes fast. (Ask anyone who's watched a two-week Canadian Tire paint sale end on the one Tuesday they forgot.)

And if the licence matters more to you than the terms, a Kahnawake site from our main listing may sit better with you. Reasonable people differ on this.
