Update 2026
It came out. A long time ago, in fact: the "soon" in that headline dates from 2018, and the game has since picked up a sequel, Jammin' Jars 2.
The studio has not changed. Jammin' Jars is still a Push Gaming title, an 8×8 cluster-pays grid where the jam jars act as wilds, hop around after each cascade and build up multipliers. The free spins round keeps those jars on the grid, which is where most of the big hits come from (and most of the long dry spells too, to be fair).
Push Gaming's published RTP for the original is 96.83%. That figure is the default. Operators can run a lower version, so open the game's info screen at your casino before you assume the number applies.
Can you still find it in Canada? Probably, but we would not promise it for any one brand. Push Gaming appears in the provider list we recorded for PlayOJO, which sits in our Ontario table. For the casinos we review for the rest of Canada, the provider lists we could read name Games Global, Pragmatic Play, Hacksaw Gaming and a few others, and Push Gaming is not among them. That does not mean the slot is missing. It means you should check the lobby search before you deposit with this one game in mind.
A small aside: slot machines stopped taking loonies years ago, yet "one more spin" still feels like it costs a dollar. It rarely does.
Our free demos are a different shelf of games, mostly classics from IGT and Microgaming. They are listed on the free slots page.
Original article (2021–2023 edition)
Only a few more days to wait for the followers of the productions of the online casino software provider Push Gaming as well as the lovers of slot machine games to enjoy the new title Jammin' Jars which promises to be very entertaining and highly lucrative.
Although the exact date is not known, the release of the Jammin' Jars slot machine is more imminent than ever. The expectation of this launch is already setting the Canadian online betting industry abuzz because players know the creativity that Push Gaming can show for the design of its online casino games. The title that will soon expand the developer's game library focuses on a conventional theme. Therefore, it is not what will captivate the players, but rather the remarkable bonus features that the new entertainment option has been endowed with and the exceptional playability that the provider offers there. As for its lucrative nature, you can already be certain that you will be entitled to superb winnings of up to 10,000 CAD or even more at the end of a single spin.
Jammin' Jars: a slot machine that sparkles with colors
The Jammin' Jars slot machine is the kind of online casino game that it is difficult to put in a specific category. Indeed, because of its background and some animations, we would tend to label it a disco theme, but its symbols which are among other fruits, including an orange, a strawberry, an apple and a plum come to contrast this. This title is very colorful and has absolutely attractive graphics. Its soundtrack is also very melodious and could even entertain you during the sessions. The structure of the reels is atypical, but this will not surprise fans of Push Gaming who are used to different types of configurations. The one of this slot machine has an 8x8 format which imposes the formation of winning combinations through an association of at least 5 identical symbols. A grouping of more than 25 similar icons will award you the best payments in the game.
A joker, multipliers, free spins and a random feature are offered on this new title
Although it doesn't look like it, the Jammin' Jars slot machine is well supplied with bonus features. The first one you can count on is a joker who, as you know, has the ability to substitute for any other element to form a winning combination. The latter is also associated with a multiplier that grows and can reach 5x each time it is involved in winnings. The jam jar icon that takes the place of the joker also plays the role of scatter symbol, which means that it has the power to trigger a free spins bonus game during which it will remain motionless on the screen and move to an adjacent position at the end of a winning combination. Finally, there is a feature called Rainbow Feature which is activated randomly and causes one or more giant symbols to appear on the screen, which makes it much easier to get the winnings.
